As a Music Teacher with the Durham Board for 14 years, the director of the "Voices of Light" Musical Theatre child and youth group, and a Private Coach for over 40 years, Paula has been especially passionate about helping children and youth discover their purpose; "their perfectly woven together frame from God's chosen conception in their mother's womb", Paula shares.
With this, she's written musicals giving voice to some of their mental health challenges, their neurodivergent complexities, and their struggles to survive in an ever-shifting world that is not only slowly silencing their innate form of communicating, but is indirectly teaching them how to self-implode.

Not only do her musicals speak to the mental health and neurodivergent challenges that she faced as a child, and sometimes continues to face as an adult, but they speak to the many voices that have cried out to her; seeking a safe space to land, to be heard and understood.
"I've spent the majority of my life attempting to translate victory beyond survival not only in response to my own trauma, but in response to the suffering of others I've encountered; hoping it becomes a small universal form or solution for overcoming battles. Channeled through my music and lyrics." - Paula.
"Her gift for writing and performing musicals goes straight to the heart, guiding children, teens, and adults through powerful emotional journeys. Each musical she creates is a tapestry of depth, meaning, and inspiration—leaving audiences changed long after the final note." - Roxanne Flagler (Smith), Canadian International Award Winning Gospel Music Singer-Songwriter.
